A FLOWW with Kellz Kidz yoga class offers a complete, age-appropriate yoga practice that begin and end with relaxation techniques and breathing instruction. Breathing and visualization techniques teach focus, relaxation and self-control. Through basic and challenging fun yoga poses, partner poses, mindfulness activities, we promote strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Classes are filled with music, stories and yoga games to keep your child motivated, excited and involved.
Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children (ages 6 to 12). Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children
ONLINE CLASS
Keep the fun going
Things are a little different these days and we can't gather as much as we used to. Why stop the fun? Have your child join our zoom yoga class. There will be singing, poses, games and more. Meditation and purposeful breathing will also be a focus.
SMALL GROUP CLASS
Keep it intimate
Just organize a small group of at least 6 children (including your own, maximum 10 students). Provide a well-ventilated, covered outdoor space or indoor space that allows for social distancing per the CDC. All props, materials and mats are provided and properly sanitized before and after each use. Class prices will be based on number of children and number of hours desired
