I have a new Certification!

When I took my prenatal yoga teacher training, a spark was lit about women’s maternal health. And then when I became pregnant I got lots of comments. People asked "should you be exercising", " Is that safe for the baby , and the list goes on.


I wanted to learn more about fitness with pregnant bodies & be able to help others stay active if they so desired.


I purchased this self paced course back in February. My goal was to have it finished before the baby. Well baby came early and even if she hadn’t, I still had quite a bit to do. Postpartum hit, I was in a hit and run accident and kept having hurdles thrown my way. But little by little, I’ve been cracking away at the lessons and completing the quizzes. The best part is that I’ve been able to try many exercises and progressions on my own postpartum body!


I finally am done and can call myself a pregnancy/postpartum corrective exercise specialist!!


This allows me a wealth of knowledge to help lead those you are pregnant and want to stay active. I can also help those get back to their exercise routine slowly and safely after baby.


I now know how to work with pelvic issues, diastasis recti and many other common problems that arise during & after pregnancy.


This certification has also taught me things to help bridge occupational therapy with fitness and maternal health.





Mama- you don't have to stop exercising & I'm living proof!! You can keep up with your day to day activities, you just may have to adjust.


I have more tools in my bag now to fulfill my vision. I can’t wait to start helping more moms during the perinatal period!
